A Necessary Evil....
Due to Federal Copyright Laws, I am unable to reproduce copyrighted characters, such as our favorite talking mouse, the super-annoying yellow square guy who lives under the sea, super-heroes, any of their friends, or any other copyrighted character who is the original artwork of another person.
I CAN provide a fantastic cake that is the backdrop, or the scene, upon which store-bought figures can be placed. I can also use edible images that are available from the grocery store and build a great cake around that.
Other copyrighted emblems, flags, sports teams, etc. are often permissible when I can obtain express written permission to use /recreate the image for a specific purpose from the copyright holder or someone in the position to grant permission for its use. Please inquire if this is something you'd like to look into.
