Why choose The Bee's Knees Custom Cakes? Of course, my commitment to the quality of your cake should be the number one reason! This would include the use of wonderful, fresh ingredients, as well as the neatness of the finished product, regardless of the design.
Speaking of design, you can't get a uniquely designed cake from just any bakery. Your cake can be designed around a theme, invitation, dress, artwork, fabric or ribbon....just about anything! I prefer to design something uniquely for you; however, many customers come to me with pictures to recreate. While I can't guarantee a perfect match - only the original designer can do that - I can do my best and put my own spin on it.
Every cake and filling I use is homemade by yours truly. This is a unique product for the home baker, as many of them use boxed mixes, and I proudly shout that from the rooftops!
You can mix and match cake and filling combinations that aren't offered at a high-production bakery.
Because of the reasons listed above, you can't expect to pay grocery-store and "big box" store prices....I can't even turn on my oven for what they can sell a cake for! Please keep that in mind when requesting an estimate.

Oh my goodness, thanks soooo much for an awesome cake! Everyone just loved it. I never saw so many teenagers ooohhh and ahhhh over a cake.
They were all taking pictures of it and nobody wanted to cut it-seriously!
Finally, around midnight I basically forced the knife into the cake and all the kids wanted to cry....until they tasted it of course! Yummmy---it was fabulous!

The cake looked beautiful. The carrot tasted great. We didn't get to try any of the rest but everyone raved about it. I can't wait for our one year anniversary so we can try the brownie cake. No one has ever raved about the cake at any of the weddings I've been to so it felt really special that they liked it so much.
