I took my first cake decorating class in 2003 because I wanted to make my son's first birthday cake. I ended up loving it and took a more advanced class shortly after that. I started making a few cakes here and there for a little (very little) extra money.
I was able to take some wonderful classes over the last few years with some of the cake industry's most prolific teachers, thanks to a yearly event in the Cleveland area called The Art of the Cake. Please, if you are at all interested in learning about cake decorating or expanding your skill set, please click on the link above. You will be amazed at what you learn and how very lucky Cleveland is to have such a great event.
My husband and I recently welcomed our fourth son in January 2011. As you can imagine, our home is a busy one! Because of that AND because I want to create a superior product, my availability is limited. I will not sacrifice quality for quantity. If I am booked for your date, I will provide you with a referral.
I pour heart and soul into each cake, which is baked fresh for your specific order, and much time is put into each decoration. Because of this, I ask that you not expect to pay grocery store prices.
Thank you for your consideration!
Brooke
